Liverpool reject chance to sign Real Madrid outcast Isco

Liverpool reportedly turned down the opportunity to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco, with Jurgen Klopp objecting to the deal.

According to a report from the Catalan outlet El Nacional, Isco has been shown Liverpool over a possible move in a future transfer window. However, the Reds turned down the opportunity to sign the Real Madrid midfielder, as Jurgen Klopp is no longer a fan of the Spaniard.

Isco has seen his fortunes dwindle dramatically in the past few years, having gone from a rotation option at Real Madrid to a small part player. The 29-year-old rarely appears on the bench, and this season he has made just seven appearances for Real Madrid, achieving 177 minutes of game time. While Elliott was impressed by the opportunities he had before his injury, James Milner’s advance only increased Liverpool’s need for a midfielder.
