Kylian Mbappe has been linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain next summer, and his colleague Lionel Messi has spoken about his future.
Liverpool are in dire need of a striker. Whether it is in the winter transfer window or next summer.
One of the players that Liverpool fans would like to see playing in red is Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe.
Despite the interest from Liverpool, the only club that appears closest to getting the World Cup winners’ signature is Real Madrid.
Los Blancos offered 200 million euros to buy Mbappe last summer, but Paris Saint-Germain suddenly rejected the offer.
The fact that the Parisian side did not accept this offer is astonishing given that Mbappe is in the final year of his contract and will likely leave for free next summer.
Lionel Messi talks about Kylian Mbappe’s future
When Lionel Messi joined Paris Saint-Germain, he was unlikely to play with Mbappe.
However, with the French player remaining, the two must play together and now Messi has been asked whether or not he thinks Mbappe will stay at PSG.
“The truth is I don’t know.
“Only he knows what’s in his head and what he’s going to do. I can only say that I’m glad he stayed here this year.
“But he speaks well at everything: Spanish, English and French clearly.”
