Legendary Real Madrid striker confident Kylian Mbappe will sign

If Real Madrid fans could only sign once in the 2022 summer transfer window, then Kylian Mbappe would be their pick. Of course, they would ideally want several senior signings to strengthen the squad, especially with the problems of depth in defense in the center back, right back and maybe even left back. But as with last summer’s window, Mbappe is the target of a lucid dream.

You can feel the hype around Madrid regarding Mbappe from the players, too. Karim Benzema was constantly talking about Mbappe in the media, and the two were crushing him on the pitch together for France.

Toni Kroos was full of praise for the PSG star too.

And now, you can add legendary Real Madrid striker Fernando Morientes to the list of top players who are excited about the prospect of Mbappe heading to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Morientes told ace reporter Fabrizio Romano he was “sure” the 22-year-old would fulfill his dream of joining Los Blancos in the summer of 2022 window as a free agent. The former striker was full of praise for Mbappe, praising his mentality and ability to meet the expectations and needs of Los Meringues as the new face of the club.

Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid has become a global belief

Everyone knows that Mbappe wants Real Madrid, including Morientes. Many say that many influential figures in the sport are professing their belief that he will join the club. Although PSG may try to keep Mbappe for another year or engage in more frightening tactics, everyone is determined that Mbappe will make his wish come true, writing his own legacy at the Santiago Bernabeu like so many stars before him.

Morientes could be overshadowed in the history books, but he had an excellent career, starring at clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool. The striker is certainly a Los Blancos legend, having scored 72 goals for the club in La Liga with another 17 in the Champions League. Morientes, a much respected player, won three Champions League titles throughout his career, all three of which came with Real Madrid. He also won the La Liga title twice with Merengo and the King’s Cup once with Valencia.

So he has his resume across many leagues and clubs. Mbappe could have a more impressive legacy in his career, including at Real Madrid. Knowing how ambitious he is, he will set the goal of winning three Champions Leagues as his minimum goal, although he is still looking for his first player as a Paris Saint-Germain player.
