Real Madrid veterans beat Barcelona veterans 3-2 in the legendary El Clasico in Israel on Tuesday night.
Among the previous stars of the match were Ronaldinho, Rivaldo, Jizka Mendeta and Deco for FC Barcelona, facing Roberto Carlos, Luis Figo, Ivan Campo, Alfonso Perez and Pedro Munites.
The match was held in front of 26,000 spectators at Bloomfield Stadium in the coastal city of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, in the form of 40 minutes in each half.
Barcelona created their first chance in the 19th minute when Ronaldinho’s shot hit the post.
Eight minutes later, the former Brazilian star scored from the penalty spot after Antonio Nunez fouled Saviola inside the penalty area.
Real Madrid turned it around within four minutes at the start of the second half with two goals from Montes and Perez.
FC Barcelona’s Joffre Mathieu provisionally equalized in the 59th minute after he faced a superb long pass from another former Brazilian star, Rivaldo.
Robin de la Red scored the winning goal for the Blancos in the 70th minute.
The special guest of honor at the event was legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who arrived in Israel on behalf of Real Madrid.
His presence was part of his role as an actor and ambassador for the Spanish giants.
