The price has been set for the Serbian striker
Liverpool are among the teams interested in Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic, according to reports, and it is now said that the €80m (£69m) fee will be required to sign him in January.
Vlahovic, 21, has scored eight goals in 11 Serie A games so far this season, having scored 21 goals in 37 last year, and recently decided not to sign his contract extension.
New Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is presumably interested in signing him as well, while several other clubs across Europe have been linked – which isn’t surprising given his goal-scoring rate.
Luis Suarez and King Kenny meet
Louis Suarez He stayed behind after Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night to search for his former Reds boss, Sir Kenny Dalglish, ECHO reports.
The Uruguayan was booed for most of the match by his supporters and then was mocked for seeing a skewed, unauthorized offside effort after the VAR check in the second half.
Suarez scored the winning penalty kick for Atletico in their recent victory over Milan earlier in the group stage, but the Spanish team is third in Group B with a lot of work to be done to qualify for the last 16.
Liverpool looks at the Manchester City star
Liverpool is among a number of European teams interested in signing Manchester City star James Makati, who has been dubbed “the next David Silva or Phil Foden”.
Barcelona, Ajax, Atletico Madrid and Manchester United are also interested in the 19-year-old attacking midfielder, who has only 18 months left on his Man City contract.
Along with Cole Palmer, McAtee is one of the brightest young stars to have appeared on the Federation campus.
McAtee scored a hat-trick in the UEFA Youth League earlier this week, and Pep Guardiola was a huge fan.
Liverpool makes an offer to the Real Madrid man
According to a report recently published by Spanish website El Nacional, 25-year-old playmaker Marco Asensio has five offers on the table to leave Real Madrid in January and one of them is from Liverpool.
In addition to Jurgen Klopp’s men, AC Milan, Arsenal, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are also looking to sign him in the middle of the season as well as with Asensio not playing as much as he wants under Carlo Ancelotti.
Asensio has scored three goals in three matches this season in La Liga, but has yet to make it to the starting line-up for a Champions League match.
Whether that will change with a move to Anfield, though, is questionable, given Liverpool’s wingers are excellent and the Reds don’t often play with the number 10.
Eden Hazard “Wanted”
Liverpool not only want to sign Asensio from Real Madrid, but also want former Chelsea star Eden Hazard from the Spanish giants, according to El National.
Real Madrid are happy to let the Belgian leave the club after a sluggish period, but Hazard is 30 years old now and that is certainly not the type of player Liverpool would be keen on.
Hazard has never scored the number of goals he should have been able to achieve with his talent, but his age and recent injury history will mean Klopp is not the man to try to change that.
