The list was compiled by Edwin Castro – better known as Castro1021, and The Sun reported that Paul was so upset about the compliments he shared on his Instagram story.
He tweeted: “Most athletes of all times are in the right order: Cristiano Ronaldo. Michael Jordan. Tiger Woods. Jake Paul. Born winners.”
It’s already a huge tribute to the 24-year-old former YouTube star who recently switched to boxing, compared to Ronaldo and Jordan Woods, all of whom are household names in their respective sports.
Ronaldo won many major titles, winning the Ballon d’Or five times. Jordan is widely regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time after winning six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls, while Woods won 15 major golf titles in his illustrious career.
By comparison, Paul has won all four of his professional fights so far and recently beat Tyron Woodley in a split decision victory.
He’s now turning his attention to a fight with Tommy Fury, and the Briton will have to change his name to “Tommy Fumbles” if he loses. But Fury’s win will net him a £423,000 bonus.
The battle takes place in Tampa Bay on December 18.
