Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti may have opened the exit door, but Eden Hazard has no intention of overcoming her and, according to Marca, is still very much hopeful to make things work out with his dream club. He is said to be willing to be patient and get back into the starting line-up, with Vinicius Jr knocking him out completely in Ancelotti’s preferred method 4-3-3.
Eden Hazard is clearly not entirely happy with his current situation, but he is not ready to part with it just yet. And of course, if the situation does not improve, he can always choose to leave next summer, before the World Cup.
According to the report, Real Madrid are also willing to give him the full season rather than force him to leave in January, even if their ultimate strategy is still to get him off their books sooner rather than later – likely to help accommodate and finance the move to long-term transfer target Kylian Mbappe. They’ll likely find a bigger market for Hazard in the summer anyway, including at recently linked Chelsea (because that’s an easy-to-sell story) and likely Newcastle United (assuming Hazard would be interested in going there in the first place).
